The problem this addresses.
In most companies a handful of people carry knowledge that exists nowhere else. They are interrupted constantly, their own work never moves, and the day one of them retires or resigns the organization quietly loses something it cannot buy back. Ten thousand Americans reach retirement age every day.
A Digital Protégé is a voice AI built from one specific person's knowledge and judgment. It answers in their framing, and at the edge of what it knows it escalates to them rather than guessing. The junior gets an answer in minutes; the senior stops being the help desk. It is the only intervention that gives both of them what they want at the same time.
The engagement.
Our standard Continuity month ($1,500) plus a compressed capture fee ($497). Full capture is $3,500; the balance is waived on founding-customer terms.
- One Protégé from a single one-hour guided interview — roughly 50% fidelity from that hour, deepening with use
- Live in under 24 hours. No implementation project, no data-science team
- Every employee gets access. No per-seat license, so breadth costs nothing
- Your documents and recorded video ingested — SOPs, prints, handbooks, and training footage
- 25 hours of usage included; overage $40/hr billed by the minute
- A day-zero baseline and a day-thirty report in your numbers, not ours
What gets measured.
Thirty minutes on day zero, before anything is built, to write down where you are now: interruptions per week, weeks for a new hire to get productive, how many people can answer what only this person can answer, and what happens when they are away. At day thirty we measure the same four again. You also get the escalation report — every question the Protégé declined to answer, which is a precise map of the knowledge that exists in exactly one head.
Without a before, there is no after. You keep that page whether or not you continue.
Three guarantees.
A signature from the top cannot make a twenty-year veteran cooperate. Winning them over is our job; if we cannot, it is refunded in full.
We say under 24 hours from the interview. Thirty days is what we will put in writing.
Our normal rate is about 6%. Above 15% we keep refining at no charge until it is under 10%.
What we ask in return, and where it goes.
Founding-customer terms come with three obligations, all in the engagement letter up front. Permission to name you and publish the numbers — you approve every word, and if the numbers are bad we fix rather than publish. One introduction to a peer if it goes well. And thirty candid minutes at the end, telling us what was wrong with it.
For the person who will ask about risk.
It only knows what you have taught it. Context is established before anything is answered; the expert's own validated knowledge is consulted before anywhere else; and at the edge of what it knows it escalates to the human rather than improvising. That is architecture, not a setting.
Your personal information is never used to train a public LLM, and your expert's knowledge is never used to train a public model. Documentation can remain on your infrastructure where sovereignty is required. When an engagement ends, your data stays inside your organization. SOC 2 Type II is in progress; the approach is covered by a pending patent of 34 claims across 9 core innovations.
