The 30-Day Continuity Proof.
Most knowledge-transfer projects want months of your faith up front: curriculum to build, videos to record, SOPs to write, then two quarters of waiting and hoping people use it. This is the opposite. It is deliberately small, deliberately fast, and deliberately measured — because you should not have to take our word for any of it.
That is our standard Continuity month at $1,500 plus a compressed $497 capture fee. The full capture engagement is $3,500; the balance is waived because you are going first and the evidence you generate is worth more to us than the margin.
- One Digital Protégé, built from a single one-hour guided voice interview with the person you name. From that one hour it can answer about half of what your expert would. Every real conversation after that teaches it more; after a few months of use it handles about nine questions in ten.
- Live in under 24 hours from the interview. No implementation project, no data-science team, no prompt engineering.
- Every employee gets access. There is no per-seat license, so breadth costs you nothing — and breadth is what makes the thirty days meaningful.
- Your documents ingested — SOPs, prints, handbooks, and the folder nobody opens. Plus recorded video: walkthroughs, training sessions, and recorded webinars. We read what was shown, not just what was said.
- 25 hours of usage included. Overage, if you get there, is $40/hr billed by the minute — and if you get there in thirty days we should both be very pleased.
- A day-zero baseline and a day-thirty report — the part everyone skips, and the only part that turns this into evidence. See below.
Hear one before you decide anything.
Reading about a Protégé tells you very little. Two minutes with one tells you everything, and the part worth testing is not whether it answers well — it is what it does when it cannot.
The part nobody else does: we measure before we build.
On day zero, before a single thing is installed, we spend thirty minutes writing down where you are now. It is a short conversation and it is the only step in this engagement that cannot be repeated later.
Without a before, there is no after. Every vendor who skips this ends a pilot with a feeling and a renewal quote. You end this one with a page of numbers you can hand to your board, your insurer, or your buyer — whether or not you continue with us.
Day zero — what we write down
- How many times a week your expert is interrupted, and by whom
- How long a new hire currently takes to be productive without supervision
- How many people can answer the questions only that expert can answer
- What happens today when they are on vacation
Day thirty — what you get back
- The same four numbers, measured again
- Questions answered without involving a person
- The escalation report — every question the Protégé refused to answer, which is a precise map of where your documentation is thin
- A transcript archive of everything that was asked, so you can see what your people actually needed
Three guarantees, because you are taking the risk of going first.
This is the real risk in the room, and it should not be yours. A signature from the top cannot make a twenty-year veteran cooperate. And the suspicion is fair — "record everything you know" does not sound like a friendly request. Winning them over is our job. If we cannot, the engagement is refunded in full.
We say under 24 hours from the interview. Thirty days is the promise we will put in writing, with a month of margin for your calendar rather than ours.
Our normal escalation rate is about 6%. If yours is above 15% at the end of the thirty days, we keep refining the knowledge base at no charge until it is under 10%. A Protégé that constantly says "ask your expert" has not done its job, and you should not pay for one.
What we ask in return, said plainly.
The price is well below our rate card and we are not going to pretend otherwise. You are getting founding-customer terms because you are absorbing founding-customer risk, and there is something we want back that is worth more to us than the difference:
Permission to name your company and publish the before-and-after numbers we measured together. You approve every word before it goes anywhere — and if the numbers are bad, we do not publish, we fix.
If the thirty days go well, one introduction to a peer who has the same problem. If they do not go well, you owe us nothing and we would rather hear why.
A debrief where you tell us what was wrong with it. We are a small company and this is the fastest product feedback we can buy.
All three go in the engagement letter up front, so nobody is asking anybody for a favor at the end.
Where it goes, if it works.
There is no obligation to continue and no automatic renewal. If you do continue, the monthly is less than the Proof was, because the build is already paid for.
It only knows what you have taught it.
That sentence is the whole architecture, and it is why this is safe to put in front of people who will act on the answer. A general-purpose assistant is built to produce an answer. A Protégé is built to understand the question first, answer only from your expert's own validated knowledge, and hand the question to your expert instead of guessing when it is unsure. That last part is built into the architecture — there is no setting that turns it off.
Your personal information is never used to train a public LLM. Personally identifiable information is removed from uploaded documents by default, and your expert's knowledge — the actual asset — is never used to train a public model. If your rules require your data to stay in-house, your documents can stay on your own servers and Expert Scale connects to them by secure API. When an engagement ends, your data stays inside your organization.

The questions we actually get.
Claim a slot.
It takes about two minutes. Only one of these questions really matters — the one asking who you cannot afford to lose. If you can answer that in a sentence, this will probably work for you.
