Expert Scale™ · The Continuity Program

Keep the judgment
your business runs on.

Every organization has people whose knowledge exists nowhere but in their heads. The Continuity Program captures that judgment while they are still here, puts it in front of everyone who needs it, and shows you month by month exactly where the gaps still are.

What happened when other companies did this.

We would rather show you two real deployments than describe a category. Both companies below ran a thirty-day Continuity Proof first, measured where they were before anything was built, and approved every number on this page.

Case study 1 — pending
Slot reserved for the first closed Continuity Proof. Required before this page goes live: company name, industry and size, the expert's role, the day-zero baseline, the day-thirty measurement, one quote, and written approval to publish. Do not fill this with an illustration, a composite or a projection.
Case study 2 — pending
Slot reserved for the second closed Continuity Proof. Two references, not one — a program that rests on a single customer is a program a buyer can dismiss as a fluke, and the second one is what makes the first one credible.

Independently of our own deployments: an engineering firm reported cutting new-engineer ramp time from six months to about one with Digital Protégés carrying load their senior staff used to carry in person. Across real sessions on our platform, 88% are assessed as high satisfaction, and about 6% of questions escalate to the human expert rather than being answered.

Or skip all of this and go argue with one.

Everything above is a claim. Two minutes with a live Protégé is evidence, and the part worth testing is not whether it answers well — it is what it does when it cannot.

Talk to Ray's Protégé

Fair warning, and it is the point: Ray is a composite senior manufacturing engineer, twenty-four years on a shop floor. If your people are nurses, or estimators, or partners, the shop talk will not be your world. It is an example, and we would rather say so than let you notice.

What is your world is how it behaves, and that part is identical to what your own expert's Protégé would do. Ask it the kind of thing you would normally have to interrupt a senior engineer for. You get Ray's answer, in his words, with his name on it. When it does not know, it says so and pulls in the real person instead of guessing. That last part is built in, and there is no setting that turns it off.

Uses your microphone · about two minutes · no signup, no email

Two people, opposite problems, one intervention.

The reason this works is not that it stores knowledge. Wikis store knowledge. It works because it is the only thing that makes both halves of the standoff better at the same time.

Your senior expert needs fewer interruptions

Decades of judgment, interrupted every twenty minutes, with their own backlog untouched for years. Each interruption does not cost a question — it costs the rest of the afternoon.

Your newer people need more access

Competent and blocked, not by difficulty but by availability. Asking the same question a fourth time costs standing, so eventually they stop asking and guess.

A Protégé serves both at once

The answer arrives in minutes, in the expert's own framing and judgment, credited to them by name. Neither of them has to lose for the other to win.

How a deployment actually runs.

1
Choose the people, not the departments
We ask one question: if this person left on Friday, what stops working on Monday? The answers are usually three to five names, and they are rarely the org chart's top three. Those names are the deployment plan.
2
Baseline before build
Interruptions per week, weeks to productivity, single points of knowledge failure, what happens when they are away. Thirty minutes per expert, and the only step in the program that cannot be repeated later.
3
One hour each, and it is live the next day
A guided voice interview reaches roughly 50% fidelity from that single hour. Your SOPs, prints, handbooks and recorded training video take it further — we read what was demonstrated, not only what was narrated.
4
Open it to everyone
There is no per-seat license, so there is no argument about who gets a login. Access breadth is free; only actual use is billed, by the minute, against your included pool.
5
The monthly escalation report closes the loop
Every question the Protégé declined to answer, grouped by theme. That report is your knowledge-risk register, generated by the actual questions your people asked, and it is what drives the next round of capture.

Three tiers, and the one everyone should start on.

Pricing is a monthly platform fee with an included pool of usage hours, and usage beyond the pool billed by the minute. There is no per-seat charge at any tier. Annual prepay is 17% off with a bonus credit pool.

Protégés beyond your tier's included count are built at no charge, one at a time, each time your account crosses 20 hours of use in a month. We would rather earn the next capture than sell it to you.

Capture workshops. Where an expert is leaving on a known date, we run an intensive on-site or remote capture ahead of their departure — multiple sessions, walkthroughs, recorded demonstrations, and a document sweep. Priced from $3,500 for a compressed single-expert capture to $25,000 for a white-glove multi-expert program, scoped against how much time is left.

Built for the questions your IT, legal and risk teams will ask.

It only knows what you have taught it
Context is established before anything is answered, your expert's validated knowledge is consulted before anywhere else, and at the edge of what it knows it escalates to a human rather than improvising. That is architecture, not a configuration option.
Your personal information is never used to train a public LLM
Personally identifiable information is stripped from uploaded documents by default, and your experts' knowledge is never used to train a public model.
Your data can stay on your infrastructure
Where sovereignty is a requirement, documentation remains on-premise with Expert Scale connecting by secure API. When an agreement ends, the data stays inside the organization that owns it.
Isolation by expert, protégé, client and session
Four-dimension scoping means one expert's knowledge base cannot be reached from another's, and an audit trail records what was asked and what was answered.
SOC 2 Type II in progress
The architecture was designed from the start for environments where a wrong answer carries real liability. Attestation is included at Enterprise.

What buying committees ask.

Why should we not just start at Succession?
Because three Protégés means three separate senior people who each have to agree to sit down, and every one of them is a place the deployment can stall. Start with the single person you would least like to lose, prove it in thirty days, and let the others volunteer once they have seen it work. The additional captures are free anyway once the account is genuinely being used.
How do we forecast the usage line?
Because there is no per-seat charge, cost per employee per month depends only on how much each person actually asks — not on headcount. Four minutes per employee per month works out to about $2.67; eight minutes, about $5.33. The same figure holds for a forty-person site and a four-thousand-person one. You set your own thresholds and alerts, so nothing runs away from anybody.
What if the expert leaves mid-program?
The Protégé stays, and so does everything they taught it. That is the point of the product. Where the departure date is known in advance, the capture workshop exists precisely to compress months of refinement into the weeks you have left.
How is this different from the LMS we already own?
An LMS needs content built before it is worth anything — video production, curriculum, and months of work — and then people have to search a catalog for an answer that may not be there. This starts with an hour of somebody talking, absorbs the documentation you already have, and is asked questions conversationally. It does not replace your LMS; it answers the things nobody ever built a course for.
Our experts will think we are building their replacement.
Some of them will, and that objection has enough truth in it that messaging alone does not fix it. What changes it is the payoff: they stop being interrupted every twenty minutes, their answers are credited to them by name, and they can see how many colleagues their expertise unblocked this month. The people most protective of their craft are usually the ones who end up most engaged.
Can our partner or PEO resell this to their clients?
Yes. Referral partners earn a recurring share of everything an account they source consumes, for the life of the account. Resellers contract with us, set their own retail rate, bill their clients and keep the spread. Terms are set per partner — see the partner page.

Start with the names.

Tell us who in your organization carries knowledge that exists nowhere else, and we will tell you which tier fits and whether it is worth your time at all. Most conversations start with a thirty-day Proof; a few do not need one.

Hear one first

A person replies within one business day. No sequence, no drip.

Not ready for a program?
Then do not buy one. Thirty days, one expert, one hour of their time and a measured result is a better way to find out, and it costs less than a week of the meeting you would otherwise be having about it.
